I just tried to access the Seattle PI's website and to my surprise (since it worked last night), I found this instead:
Sorry, the web site you are accessing has been closed by Royal Thai Police due to inappropriateness such as pornography, gambling or contain any information which is deemed to violate national security.
I'm not even in Thailand, but Laos. Go figure.

Well, that's where we're headed, babydoll, unless we change gears.
See if this works:

Take care of yourselves, girlies.
That's kinda creepy. Especially to block the PI.
Thailand blocked YouTube last year because of several offending videos, and at various times I haven't been able to access blogger.
There was just a big demonstration in Bangkok - businesses closed and schools closed early, so I wonder if that might be the issue - and they may be blocking a variety of news sites. Certainly can't imagine the PI to be subversive!
On the other hand, there might be other ways to access the PI. Different internet cafes in Vte. access internet through different routes - Planet usually doesn't have a problem.
Vietnam might be blocking blogger - remember I couldn't always post updates. On the other hand, no problem with livejournal - I posted installments of a novella based on Ha Noi life while I was doing some consulting there a few years ago.
Good luck.
